About Reb Frost
Bienvenue sur mon site! Welcome to the art of Reb (Rebecca) Frost Fine Artist - painter, illustrator, former woodworker..... urban explorer and street photographer living in Verdun, Quebec. It is my hope that what I paint, (or photograph) has a meaning to whoever looks at it. . I love to see someone connect with an image. My photography (mainly on Flickr) is based on street photography in Montreal. I'm out there, on the streets.. I love my city and I express it in every way I possibly can. I also do children's illustrations. I love the imagination and creativity of children and hope that as we grow older, we never give up on our imagination! I encourage children everywhere to explore the world through art and creativity! I would...

Bruce Combs - REACH BEYOND
High, Reb! Thanks for saving this for posterity in such a wonderful oil! The water may be my favorite part; I like paintings of water so much! I grew up in semi-rural Oregon -- hate to tell you (and the many more viewers this will have that it was toward 70 years, when I first fell in with them!) The were quite a few then, really old, sometimes rickety, not painted, rarely cherished, often not feeling very secure, usually one-way. I would beg and beg to get my parents to drive back and forth over them. My younger sister and I would play under them; the shade and water made it cooler there. It wasn't long till most of them were "replaced." None of us had thought to take photos! They had always been there and always would be. Only several around the state were saved, and monumented, something like this one. Thank you for the fine preservation in oil, Reb, Peace, etc., Bruce Combs
Reb Frost replied:
Thank you very much Bruce! Very kind of you to comment and I'm glad that you enjoyed these bridges when you were young. I hope they will preserve as many of them as they can.
